Well, it certainly looked like Russia knew how to put on an opening ceremony for the Olympics! Whew!
As the ceremony went on, and on, it made one give thanks that recent Olympics held in the U.S. only had 230+ years of history to re-cap. Because, 1,000+ years of a country’s history is a lot of production and effort to display in a ceremony.
