MMeM, Vol. 9 Issue 77 – Hmm.

No, that’s not a Midwestern OIL spill.

So there’s this store that caters to pet owners and it even allows customers to bring their own pets into the store. Now, if you didn’t know that they allowed this you might be confused by the deep dark stains and rivers around the entry doors and pillars.

No, that’s not a Midwestern Oil Spill, or a strip mall’s malfunctioning unregulated septic system. And no, those pillars are not leaking any liquid either.

Well, a malfunctioning septic system might provide some sort of treatment to the dark stains and rivers and that would be more re-assuring.

There’s not much “grass” around strip malls and most times, they are replaced with non-absorbent rocks or pebbles. I know employees would not be excited about tending to something like this, but maybe it’d be better to deal with than your “oil slick” styled entry.
