Well, it was really just a matter of time. For the most part this Green Tea Leaf and Extract Craze/Phase has run its course. I always wondered why they started with Tea.

I know I know, what you’re saying, “It’s GREEN Tea!, And that’s what makes it so magically effective”. Yeah, I know it is. Because there is no way they could make ground up TEA look green or just say it’s green or just say well that’s its name. That doesn’t mean it has to be green.

Have you walked through the health foods section of your pharmacy or grocery store lately? Suffice to say, there is no need to decorate for St. Patrick’s Day cause they got that one covered TO-DAY.

Now onto the next Green food that has suddenly been discovered. Because it’s green? I don’t know but they are pulling out the big guns on this one. Dr. freaking OZ is on an infomercial for this stuff!

So, we’ve done Tea, now Coffee both of the green variety, now what? I was going to predict Green Bananas because you could have green banana trail mix, muffins, eaten whole, cakes, peanut butter protein with your green banana sandwiches. The possibilities are really endless.

But, then I remember what my dad says. “I’m too old to buy Green Bananas”, meaning he might not be around by the time they ripen.

And to think people actually ask me where I get my self deprecating humor. Have you met my Mom?
