MMeM, Vol.8 Issue 47 – This cliff is at the bottom of a ravine.

I can’t get worked up about this issue

Happy New Year right? Fiscal Cliff. Boy, I don’t even know where to begin on the list of 100+ reasons I can’t get worked up about this issue. Honestly, I’ve been worked up about it for 30 years now and that all started when we talked about the cause of such a thing as a Fiscal Cliff which was the National Debt. No, not just an annual Budget Deficits, that’s important too, I mean that’s how you add to your National Debt of course.

But, I guess I feel like this Fiscal Cliff is a speck located somewhere on the vast uninhabitable floor of the $16+ Trillion Debt Cravasse in which we find outselves now. Figuring out a way to pay what we can and get loans for what we can’t right now to swerve again and avoid this “Cliff” is important for sure.

However, isn’t it really like using duct tape on a cracked nuclear reactor?

Oh, I think I said it earlier, but Happy New Year!
