ook, I know I do a lot of dumb things. Everytime I find myself doing something halfway intelligent or even “smart-ish” I don’t have to contemplate for long to remind myself of just how dim I really am. I do my best to hide this fact from not only the world but myself most of the time.

A few years back, I remember one of my credit cards sent me a notice about adding a picture to my card. I thought, “That’s great and I know exactly what picture I’ll upload to my account for them to put on my new card and then send to me!” It wasn’t until years later after I’d gotten a new card from them without the option for a picture that it sunk in through my thick skull what their intention had been all along.

Yeah, they thought I’d be smart enough to realize the whole idea was to upload a picture of MYSELF, for security purposes, as it was my credit card. But NOOOOooooo, what did I do? I uploaded a picture of my daughter who had recently been a part of a state championship volleyball team! Oh, but of course! What an idiot I can be sometimes! DOH!
