MMeM, Vol. 11 Issue 2 – “That’s All Folks!”

I will be the first to admit to making mistakes, especially when it comes to “mis-speaks” so-to-say. But, in today’s world even I find it hard to see how so many in such lofty heights of importance, responsibility, and power can make such mis-steps.

Look, I’m sure this was purely accidental and what’s more maybe it’s just me that sees that maybe, just maybe this sounds a bit, how do you say…off color?

But, in 2015, how do you advertise so…..blue?

I haven’t seen mentions of “black face” so blatantly since I was a kid watching old cartoons where drinkin’, smokin’, scattin’, and whoopin’ it up while stompin’ around in “black face” was just another one of those Merrie Melodies cartoons. Of course it’s just a case of very unfortunate word and phrase misplacement in that it seems to imply this nice watch is on sale for “Men with Black Face”.

Again, I guess it’s just me.
