Good Friday morning everyone! So, saw this feed headline for a USA Today article. “Coming soon: Space capsule, rocket that land, not splash“
Wow, that sounds amazing! Wait, what…haven’t we done this before for like 30 some years? Doesn’t/Didn’t the Space Shuttle return to Earth and land without a splash?
Well usually, it did. These capsule splash returns was done back in the 60’s and 70’s right? I don’t know, it just doesn’t seem like such a huge move forward.
Did the author see that Space Shuttle that went across the U.S. a few months ago?
