ver the past few months, as I walk the dog around the neighborhood I’ve noticed an odd vehicle situation in front of one of the nicer homes in the area. First, I should note that this house is very nice. In fact, I feel like it’s probably the nicest McMansion in the upscale neighborhood in which our neighborhood falls.
I love the siding, the roofing, the windows, the 3 car garage, the fenced in backyard, and just everything about this nice house right down to the rooster weathervane atop the peak of the multi-tiered roof. The odd thing of which I noted about vehicles, started about 5 months ago when there was a very, call it, low-end early model pick-up truck parked next to this house. This pick-up had some, shall we say, custom paint work done on it in which the owner was going for a Dukes of Hazard theme perhaps?
Then, one day after several weeks it was gone. I thought, well that was interesting but probably best that the eyesore was gone. Ah but wait! Next was the Jeep Cherokee to pay homage to Dale Earnhardt #3 no less!
Now I don’t want to go out on a limb here and assume things, but I’m guessing that the driver of these vehicles MIGHT be banking on the fact that collision insurance isn’t something they want to spend money on with these vehicles?
Hey, whatever gets you around….and saves you money I say!
