MMeM, Vol. 9 Issue 58 – Pints

Really bathroom fixtures manufacturer? Really? Saw this in a Bennigan’s the other day and thought, “Wow, there is a real play on words”.

Now, I don’t consider myself a “Prude” or anything like that. In fact, I pride myself on being far from that if anything.

However, sometimes you’ll see the fruit of someone’s effort to be “cute” or “bright” and well, I don’t think that should go unnoticed or underappreciated. Just in case you haven’t been to a Bennigan’s, it’s a restaurant which also serves alcohol. In fact, they say they are a neighborhood restaurant that is “American Fare, Irish Hospitality”. That’s great, really it is.

However, I do wonder if I want the urinal auto-flushing pump to “read” PINT, as that is one of the beverage names used by said restaurant.

It’s kind of like going into a bathroom stall and the top of the toilet says, SALAD BAR.

Just me? Ok, that’s fine.
