Y<\/span>ou know when you’re schleppin’ your way through a grocery store parking lot or when you’re at the mall and you hear a car alarm going off? What do you do? Exactly. Nothing, especially when it’s a car horn beeping car alarm. Then you try to get out of earshot as soon as possible.<\/p>\n

Funny thing is, or I guess maybe the sad thing is, insurance companies still give discounts on collision\/full coverage if you do have a car alarm. Problem is, that NO ONE pays any attention whatsoever to them anymore. You know why too. Not only do you not care, but you don’t even want to run into the poor sap whose car it is. Because then you have to pretend\/act at how much misfortune they’ve had when they rattle off their convoluted story about shutting and locking the car before Grandma could get out and then it triggered the alarm, blah, blah, blah. I’ve seen<\/del>,<\/span> err heard it a thousand times.<\/p>\n

If anything, today activated car alarms are really effective for\u00a0scaring away\u00a0would-be car burglars or thieves. I know if I was a car thief, like say Nicholas Cage in Gone in 60 Seconds, I would pay a kid $20 just to run around the block slapping cars setting off car alarms. Then, I know it would be safe to get started boosting cars as NO ONE would be looking for car thieves. They’d all be too busy ignoring and dismissing just another moron who accidentally activated their car alarm and haven’t yet come out of Macy’s.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
