I<\/span> always give credit where credit is due. The other day while listening to my leaders, “The Musers” (morning show on KTCK1310 AM TheTicket<\/a>), a great point was made. So, you’ve all seen the Doomsday Preppers shows on National Geographic Channel right?<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

So many families are prepping for the end of society as we know it brought on by economic collapse, great Tsunamis, F5 Tornado Outbreaks, Nuclear War, Chemical War, or a biological outbreak either natural or man-made. All of these worries, would and could bring on the end of our country, world, and society as we know it of course. These folks have dedicated thousands of hours, days, weeks, months, and years to prepare for anything.<\/p>\n

Storm-Bomb shelters, water storage sites, food stocks, underground silo habitations, bicycle escape routes out of urban areas, weapons training and stockpiling, and hoarding of any survival type food, water, or weapons are just some of the precautions being taken by these “preppers”.<\/p>\n

It leads one, that being “non-preppers” to wonder, is it all worth it? You are going to spend years of your life, your life savings, your family’s sanity, you family’s reputation within non-doomsday society to survive this up and coming doomsday. Then, you’re going to be left in an uninhabitable wasteland to suffer the aftermath for as long as all of your planning will now subject you to endure.<\/p>\n

Hey, the better you prepped the longer the misery.<\/p>\n

Did you see “Waterworld”? World is covered in seawater due to either global warming effects melting polar caps or because of nuclear war. Remember how Kevin Costner’s gilled-human-fish character made drinking water? Urine in luck if you’re a “prepper”.<\/p>\n

Next, I give you “The Book of Eli” and it’s post apocolyptic nuclear wasteland. Hope “preppers” stored plenty of Wish You Were Here post cards.<\/p>\n
