I<\/span>t’s obvious that Nia, the lowly earless cat, that she is, gets little love in this house. Look, she does just fine though. She’s a miracle cat really. Little does she know how very close she came to being…. no more a few years back. But, I digress.<\/p>\n

She was adopted from animal control in September one year at about age 12 weeks or 3 months as a kitten. They said the reason she had no ears was due to having had a terrible case of frost bite. It was September, she was 3 months old, yeah, you do the math. I don’t know, maybe she was homeless and rode in the wheel well of a 747 from up North somewhere, who knows really, anyway no story shorter….no ears. External ears. She looks like a poor man’s Scottish Fold cat, on a good day.<\/p>\n

So, yesterday before the NCAA tournament games got going she decided it was her time in front of the TV.<\/p>\n
