O<\/span>k, so I have kind of gotten into watching American Ninja Warrior<\/a>. I hate the name of this show because I think it is stupid and just another use of AMERICAN in a reality show ever since 9\/11 but whatever.<\/p>\n

Now, to be clear it’s one of those things where I’ll watch it when I see it’s on but I have no idea when that is and how often that is but it is fascinating to me. It’s fascinating to me because I can’t believe that technically I am the same species as some of these contestants that do these obstacle courses in such amazing times.<\/p>\n

It kind of reminds me of my daughter and her room over the years. Recently, her room has been just about spotless for her. Used to be that it was knee deep in clothes, dishes, sports gear, school stuff, books, DVDs, book bags, shoes, blankets, etc. I would ask her, “How do you get from the door to your bed Peyton?” She’d reply, “Dad, I have paths!”<\/p>\n

From watching American Ninja Warrior, I now know what to call her room. It is her version of Mt. Midoriyama.<\/p>\n
