Interesting, because usually signs like this in hospitals warn of interference with life-sustaining machinery and the like so rules were NO CELL PHONES, PLEASE TURN OFF ALL ELECTRONICS TO ENSURE SAFETY OF PATIENTS, etc.<\/p>\n

The same day,\u00a0“FAA has determined that airlines can safely expand passenger use of Portable Electronic Devices (PEDs) during all phases of flight.” That’s great, but, well passengers already do this. PEDs (Performance Enhancing Drugs huh?)<\/em><\/p>\n

Yeah, I never really bought that scare tactic either. But, the medicine community could have stuck to their guns and used this issue to their advantage. It’s like when you take your slow computer to a repair place and after getting it\u00a0fixed asking what was wrong.<\/p>\n

“Virus.”<\/p>\n

Really? How are you ever going to prove or disprove that claim?<\/p>\n

Hospitals to grieving relatives of a recently deceased patient. “Well, all we can figure is that someone was using their cell phone somewhere in the hospital.”<\/p>\n
