MMeM, Vol.9 Issue 10 – No, don’t get up

I know I can’t be the only person that feels this way. After just having watched the Superbowl, I’m reminded of a thought I had sometime in the first half. Is there ever a better reason, other than surgery in the hospital, when you could use a catheter?

Yeah, I thought so. Problem is that when you watch the Superbowl there is no time to go to the bathroom. How do you normally watch TV? You watch the program of your choice and you go to the bathroom when commercials come on during the program you are watching.

That presents a Super problem when you’re watching the Superbowl and I’m pretty sure you know what I mean. That’s why I was wondering about catheters. I’ve had them before after surgeries and what not and always revel at the convenience. I mean, why can’t we have these in whenever we want?
