MMeM, S16E8 – Caucus?

Look, here’s the deal, I’m about quarantine talked out for a while. For one thing, this isn’t ending anytime soon so there’ll be more about that later. Anyway, back in January when no one in this country was doing a thing to get ready for global pandemics, we were once again subjected to a 4 year recurring education of…wait for it…CAUCUSES.

Caucuses.

1. What are they?
2. Why do they exist?
3. Where are they?
4. How do they work? 

Every four years we have to hear about these stupid things in IOWA and some other places. Answers to the 4 questions previously listed, they go as such EVERY 4 YEARS after our NON-reeducation:

1. The way Iowans do primaries for Presidential elections.
2. Because.
3. Iowa, Nevada, a Dakota, another state, some place, and Guam who apparently votes for President.
4. Still not sure, yet again.

If the media gets to explain this EVERY FOUR YEARS, wouldn’t one think that they could explain it better? No. Why? Because the system of Caucusing is a confusing nightmare in itself. Enough already 1st to vote states!

Although, considering with what we end up, it only stands to reason that we start the show off with a 2 ring circus anyway. Yes, it’s a 2 ring circus because the 3rd ring collapses. It’s a caucus.
