here are too many things to be depressed about today. Climate change, anti-vaxers, trade wars, opioids, take your pick really it’s exhausting. Here is one story, that I cannot and will not get upset about.

Titanic sub dive reveals parts are being lost to sea

When I saw the headline, I thought, “Ok, so how is this going to be attributed to humans? Surely, there has to be a pollution angle or something.” But, it all could be sourced back to the fact that humans built the ship with less than sound flooding safeguards, rammed it into an iceberg and sank it back in 1912.

Anyway, scientists have been visiting the shipwreck of the Titanic with submersibles to view how the Titanic is faring on the bottom of the Atlantic after sinking 107 years ago. Newsflash, it’s slowly falling apart. Apparently, the captain’s bathtub is about to fall through the floor and out of view forever!

The cause of all of this rapid deterioration? Deep sea creatures, bacteria and LIFE! It’s eating at the iron and causing it to crumble when the slightest waves brush parts of the ship. Waves caused by, oh I don’t know, submersibles?

But, that’s just my theory. However it’s happening, I. Just. Don’t. Care.
